Eichler Guest Bath Remodel

Not much to show here -- I unfortunately don't have a 'before' photo. The previous bathroom had been updated but having 11 people living in a house is pretty hard on it -- the gold-plated fixtures were losing their gold-plating. Also, the old bathtub was only about 7" deep, so it was not very good for luxuriating.

We had previously moved the wall of the master bedroom/bathrooms into the bedroom by about a foot so we could we could expand the bathrooms and put in a decent-sized bathtub in the guest bathroom.

We tore out the old fixtures (sledge hammer for the bathtub!), sheetrocked (Erik did the sheetrock work; finishing was hired out), put in new fixtures -- a Jacuzzi jetted tub, a Bertch cherry cabinet, a cultured granite countertop, ceramic tile floor, a HUGE mirror (replacing the medicine cabinet) -- and voila!
